This is the only picture I have ever seen of my grandmother, Julia Melinda Maxwell Partain.  She was born in 1868 and died in 1907.  She is pregnant with her last child, Julia Melinda Partain Pinkerton, who was born the year her mother died. This picture would have had to be taken in 1906 or 1907.  My dad, Charlie, was born in 1897 or 1898 and was about 9 or 10 years old when Julia died.  John and Julia married December 25, 1887.
