Christian brethren worshiping at Settlement Van Buren Co. Ark. have this the 4th
day of August, 1898 ordained and set apart our worthy brother John T. Partain as
a minister of the gospel and we further certify that brother Partain is a member
in good standing of this congregation worshiping at Settlement. And we commend
him to the brotherhood at large wherever his lot may be cast.

I G. G. Perkins Circuit Clerk and Ex-Officio Recorder of the County aforesaid,
do hereby certify that the annexed and foregoing instrument of writing was filed
for record in my office on the 16th day of August A.D. 1898, at 11 o'clock A.M.
and the same is now duly recorded withy the acknowledgements and certificates
thereon, in "Record Book 4 Page 75 of Ministers Credentials.
